Hi, My Name Is Courtney Robbin-Coker
…but friends call me Coco, and my beloved clients nicknamed me the “Makeover Magician.” It all started in the 80s and 90s when I was a little girl in Texas. I was really close with my Aunt Janie, who struggled with diabetes. I loved to make her feel beautiful by giving pedicures, painting her nails, and playing with her hair and makeup. Those moments were the beginning of my love for the beauty world, and my passion for bringing out the confidence and joy in others…
At 10 years old, I myself was also diagnosed with diabetes. Years later, and after working in the beauty industry, I began to realize that what we put in and on our bodies can really impact our health. So I became more ingredient conscious, avoiding harmful chemicals wherever I could.
As a hairstylist, I’m mindful of the products I use, in an effort to create a safer, healthier environment for myself and my guests. My priority is to maintain the balance between minimizing harsh ingredients, while also delivering quality, luxury hair services. Styling Backstage, New York Fashion Week, The Row Fall 2015
Being a hairstylist for over 14 years, I’ve been able to do some really cool things, like styling models backstage for New York Fashion Week, becoming a haircolor educator, and even gaining some celebrity clients. But my hidden talent lies within “The Makeover.” Over the years, I’ve cultivated a talent for finding just the right color and style to fit my client’s features, aesthetic and lifestyle. Incorporating hair and scalp health into my approach with extensions and color has set me apart and really enhanced the experience for the guests that sit in my chair.

I’ve been fortunate to live and work in Atlanta, New Orleans & Dallas, relocating to South Florida in 2020. After working in the Design District and North Miami, I finally found my salon home on the edge of Broward County. My salon suite is centrally located in Cooper City, convenient to both Miami, Pembroke Pines, Weston and Fort Lauderdale. When my hands are not in hair, you can find me soaking up sunshine with my husband and son ♡
